    A decent rule-of-thumb is to double their weight at 4 months to get the adult weight. So, I'd say it's about average.

    The thing with doubling at 4 months,I don't know if that's very accurate with bully breeds. They do most of their "filling out" at about a year. My other amstaff was only 25# at 4 months, but was 70# at 13 months

    My little boy was 28 pounds at 4 months, and now pushing 70 at nearly a year! When he was 8 weeks, he was only 9 pounds and the vet told me he would be 45 max... There's really no surefire formula.

    Rapid Growth Periods
    Small - 0 - 12 wks
    Med - 0 - 16 wks
    Large - 0 - 20 wks

    Growth = Weight / Weeks

    Approximate Adult Weight = Growth x 52wks

    Can be fairly accurate as long as you do your calculations before the rapid growth period ends.

    My Bull Terrier Buster is now 10 wks of age and weighs approx 5.7kg.

    Therefore:

    5.7 / 10 = 0.57

    0.57 x 52 = 29.6kg

    His father was around 25kg...so its not too far off.

    I'm Not sure if anyone is still looking for this info but I got it. I weighed my puppy twice a week for 25 Weeks so far. He is a male American Staffordshire Pitbull (I think). He is a blue nose with gray and white fur. It seems to me he is going to be your good old average size male Pittie. I am thinking 60lbs-65lbs when full grown.

    So from 19 Weeks I started keeping track of his height, Length Etc...The abbreviations stand for:

    HH = Height At Head (In Inches)
    HS = Height at Shoulders (In Inches)
    L = Length (In Inches)
    HG = Head Girth (In Inches)

    I will try and post some pics of him. His Diet is Primal Beef Formula (4 Patties a Day). Up to 24 Weeks I was also giving him 1 Tucker Pork and Pumpkin Formula Serving but he stopped eating all of his food all the way to the end and so I took that out. He walks about 1 1/2 Hours a day so he is a hungry boy. Hope that helps anyone Else looking for this info!
