Apartments in Nashville, TN that take APBTs?

Recently got a job offer and am considering a move to Nashville, but I'm having trouble locating a place that will take APBTs. Anyone in the area have any suggestions? I'd be southeast of downtown, zip code 37211.

The other issue is that I need something that will allow me to go month to month, as I'm not sure if this will be a long term move.

Huge thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

We have several members that live in or around the Nashville area.. Hopefully, they will chime in and see your thread, and point you in the right directions. I'm going to point you to some other rescues that may be able to help as well. Come check me out on www.facebook.com/Mollie's_Nana and let me see if I can get some of those friends over there to network together and help you. :) Let me check on it for you. :)

Thanks so much! I'm trying to access your FB page but getting an error.

It seems like I'm going to have to go with a private rental, so I'm looking around on CL at the moment.

edit - found you on FB, thanks!

Still looking if anyone's got any recommendations. I know her obedience school instructor would be willing to call and vouch for her.

Follow-up on apartment hunt

Im new to this forum and saw your posting of your interest in apartments that would allow pitbulls. I too am interested in finding the same and was curious if you were ever sucessful with that search. Any information would be extremely helpful.

It took me forever to find a place that would allow Honey to be with me. I ended up 1) renting an apartment that used to be a house in a residential area rather than a complex and 2) paying a larger pet deposit and 3) getting SEVERAL people to vouch for Honey. Patience is key... good luck!

Hi. There aren't really any that I know of off the top of my head. Infact it seems more and more all you find are places that only allow small dogs. Your best bet is to look into a private landlord, so bascially a rental house or townhouse. Best thing to do though is bring your dog with your to the different properties/Apartments so they can meet your dog first hand. Also if your dog has any certifications (CGC) and/or other obedience certificates or won any awards. Bring that.

Lexington Apartments will let you rent with a pitbull..manager Ms. Kim in Madison TN

Madison TN is only 10 minutes from Nashville. The apartments are month to month..kind of run down but its a start/stepping stone till you kind find a better living enviornment for you and your dog. This is where I started off when I first moved to Nashville 8 months ago..rent is $450 for 1bdrm..Not the best place but not the Worst either. Like I said..just a stepping stone. Good Luck. Apartment name Lexington Apartments!

Hi, I have no idea if you'll see this, but I was wondering if you could maybe give me the address to the Lexington Apartments? I can't find the one in Madison when I google it(instead a bunch of fancy super expensive ones come up on Google), and I desperately need a place to stay by August(or September at the latest).

There are some areas where owners are allowed to reside in apartments with APBTs in the Nashville region. In Nashville, there are many real estate agents that will help you find an apartment. Contact one of Nashville's top realtors for more assistance in finding the best apartment in Nashville.
