Oh, and we have boas too. 1.0 super salmon jungle, 0.1 anery, 0.2 pastel, 0.1 normal

One of my leopard geckos is gravid, which is actually a piss off because it means that she was bred way to small while being housed with a male sibling at the breeder's. She was 35 grams when I got her. She laid a clutch that I didn't find in time because I obviously wasn't looking, so they dried out. She's about to pop now so she should drop the next two any day now. At least the male was nice that bred her, another hypo Mack snow. This is her

This is who I planned to pair her and her sister to next season

Sorry about the early breeding. Hope she isn't worn out.

Update: Aya has been digging in the laybox. I expect a drop in the next couple of days

She laid 'em this morning. They seem too soft to be viable, but I've got them incubating for females anyway. She hasn't lost any weight so that's a promising sign. She's right around 45 grams now, so not dangerously small, but I like females to be close to 60 before breeding.

Did you candle them at all?

Not yet, I was in a hurry this morning and just wanted to get them in the incubator before work. I'll give them a few days and see how they look and candle them.

  8. Im not however, my little cousin Abbigal wanted baby ladybugs! So she asked my aunt if she could get some. After putting 6 in a jar with there favorite food out came HUNDREDS of ladybugs.

Good news, Aya dropped a clutch last night. Hoping they're fertile but it's pretty common for them not to be. Gonna check after a week

So this thread is a little bit old(?) but I didn't wanna make a new one when all the people I wanted to talk to are already in this one.

I started pairing my Ball Pythons for the first time (for me or them!) in mid-December. I have a het pied female and alternated my het pied male and my 66% het pied male with her until about February, when they quit paying attention to each other--hated to put the 66% het to her because of the odds, but she just didn't like the het pied male and I never confirmed a lock with him, and when I put my older male in there they went right to it. Confirmed at least two locks, one in December that lasted about 12 hours and one maybe a month later for a few hours. Now in June, the boys have started eating normally again and my girl is acting differently.

Basically I wanted to ask more experienced breeders if you think my girl is gravid. She's been putting on weight and eating like a beast, getting particularly plump in the lower half of her body, lying in a perfect circle, sometimes with her belly turned inwards, last night I came home to this almost inverted lay:

Is this typical gravid behavior? Is the timeline right? Should I be doing anything different with her and should I set up an incubator soon? I've been reading about it but it seems everyone says something slightly different and I'm confused at this point. I just want some little half-pink babies! Hahaha.

Shoot, should have gotten one this morning, she was all stretched out. We're feeding tonight so I can hopefully snap one before she goes in the feeding tub, maybe she'll let me palpate her too.

Aw, I kept and bred Rhacodactylus for years. Got out of it in 2008 after the financial colapse meant I could barely afford to feed what I had. My favorite were, and always will be leachianus. I have a few boas left, as pets, but sold off everything else.

I have a pair of BCI together. A 2010 Salmon Inferno (from the first ever litter) and a Lucy pastel. I only know about half a handful of people with anything from the Lucy line.

Hey! Look who finally has tapatalk!

I miss my chameleons. Almost got a panther from a zoo, but my schedule sucked and was always on the road so i declined.
