I've spoken to Cheryl though e-mails and on forums and met some of the dog's she produced in person at shows.

She has a lot of experience with the breed and has some nice dogs :)

I gave this thread's link to an owner on the forum, Shadowwolf, who has dogs from her.

Good Lord, $1500.00?! I'm never going to be able to afford a pure bred APBT pup. :(

Can you put dogs on layaway??

I personally know Cheryl, who has had over 30 years in APBTs. Give her a call. And remember everything is flexible when it comes to finding a good home for a well breed APBT.

Good advice. Many breeders will work out private treaty contracts with potential owners

I actually talked to her about a year before I got my pups(ambullies) she was real nice, and the fact that she had so many years experience was def a plus. She had no problem talking to me for about 30 minutes on the phone. I believe she said you have to do certain things in order to get a dog from her(I could be wronn) like be a member of a certain club or something I can't remember. She doesn't seem to have very many litters though, but the dogs and pups were emaculate imo.

Yup, I've got one dog who's from Cheryl and another who was bred off of one of her boys. I second the advice to contact her. That's the easiest way to get the questions you've got and she does have her phone and e-mail listed on her website.

A lot of times, prices are put up on breeder sites (reputable ones anywho) to scare away those who potentially may have ill intent when looking to get a dog from someone, so don't look at that like it's set in stone until you talk to any given breeder.
  11. I had to jump in on this discussion since I have several of Cheryl's dogs. I looked and looked for a great true American Pit Bull Terrier Breeder. Most breeders I came across had amstaff crossed in the lines. I was looking for a true APBT that also had a different look than my game bred dogs. I wanted a dog that could do well in ADBA and UKC without sacrificing high drive.
After talking to her for hours at a time I flew out to WA to pick out my new dog. Since then allot has happened in our friendship and now we are very close friends and she is now my sister kennel. I have trained many of her younger dogs before the went to their new owners and the high drive and trainability of the dogs is great. Currently I have 3 dogs from Cheryl Justice, Fury, and Crush. I am waiting for 2 more dogs from her that will be down here shortly. I can't say enough about her but I guess I am bias:D
K9 Performance Kennels is a working kennel and so far I am pleased with Cheryl's dogs.

Cheryl is an awesome person, really cares for her animals and stays true to the breed. I have had the pleasure of owning a male that is soon to turn 1 year.

That's my little man Ziggi he is a great little dog with a lot of heart and drive. He is bred out of Justice x Maximus and has been a wonderful addition to the family. He is 10 months in the picture and last year finished with 3x1st place, 1x2nd place, and 1x3rd place in ADBA. He is just getting started in weight pull, but seems to have a lot of potential, and can't wait to see what he can do!
