another dog i came across "shorty bull"

I think they look like french bulldogs crossed with english bulldogs with cropped ears.
Another designer dog I hope doesn't catch on.

Just about each one looks a little different to me. Like one is EB, Frenchie mix. Then EB and Pug, or EB and Boston. In their standards the ears have to be cropped or dropped and anything else is a fault. As well as the tail must be short either docked or screwed. It doesn't say anything about what type of breed it is just a shorty bull. :(

I so totally don't get it. If you want a short bulldog looking dog why not just go get a Frenchie or even a Boston Terrier from a reputable breeder or rescue?

i like the disclaimer... make sure you dont buy a "fake shorty bull"

Yeah, I saw that. I love how they ask people to verify the Shorty Bull they have or are getting with them as if they own the "breed" and how they hear others are breeding Shorty Bulls but those aren't real and not to buy them. Uhhh, ok. Wow...just wow.

looks to me like someone who bought a BYB frenchie and someone informed them that it was a mix. the owner, got pissed for being an idiot, and decided to make their OWN breed. <--- common

Wow are you serious? I thought it was a "made up name", I know that registry is crap, but shit, its that easy to "invent" your own breed? What is the world coming to....

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The look of the Boston or Frenchie is the same look as these "Shorty Bulls".

Personally, I have had great experiences with both Bostons and Frenchies.

They look like French Bulldogs with cropped ears to me.

I can see plenty of vet trips in the future for anyone owning these dogs.

No French Bulldog in them......have seen some of them do bitework, agility, ratting, and on coons/badgers - they are bad ass lil dogs with tons of drive.

Just get a boston terrier end of story no need for new breeds

:lol::lol: Looking at those dogs faces on the website and how their noses are so smushed in I would be surprised if the poor things could breathe while walking much less participate in any sport. Nice try defending a shitty BYB though.

Theres no French Bulldog in them kinda like how theres no English Bulldog and mastiff in American Bullies?

generally speaking french bulldogs are pretty much un-athletic and I can't see them doing much. Bostons on the other hand used to be pit dogs, not that this makes any sense now because they were bred away from this almost 100 years ago but I have seen some BT's that pretty hyper and can at least move a lot better than bulldogs. The BT's have the short muzzle thing workinga against them but they have normal bodies for the most part. The heavier frenchies and english bulldogs just do not have the proper structure to do much.
