It's pretty pathetic that people are allowed to have, and in some cases hoard wild animals, but there are bans and restrictions on domesticated pets. Anyway, I saw this on FB just a few minutes ago, lol.

Who cares? So now they are going to hate on the people who own big cats because one idiot went crazy and released them, THEY DIDNT EVEN DO ANYTHING so I dont get how they are "vicious".

People are idiots and annoy me to no end. Now everyone who has exotics are going to suffer just like the people with bully breeds, yay for America.

People shouldn't have exotics. Not without a license, anyhow. They are not pets.

That is true, I just think its fucking stupid how no one can have anything in this damn country because people get all pissy about one crazy guy.
I feel bad for all the people who do it right and take proper care of their exotics..

Hell if I am not wrong he was doing pretty well with his until he went crazy..

No, they were starving. At least that's what I saw on the news.

You believe everything on the news aye? He was recently hired to do a movie with one of his cubs and all the video and body shots of the cats didnt look like they were starving at all

I'm not a expert on cheetahs or tigers or anything so idk what they would like when they are starving...the only comparison is ones I see in on TV in the wild and I don't think they eat too good...but yeah, idk. That's just what they said. I don't really care, I'm pissed they killed them all, that was fucked up.
  13. pookie!

    pookie! GRCH Dog

I am not pissed they killed them all, there were quite a few big cats and wolves out running a muck, something needed to be done ASAP and killing them was that thing.
They could have killed many people if they werent taken care of quickly, I am pissed that because of his dumbass actions other people who have exotic animals kept in proper enclosures and who care for them like they needed to be will now be persecuted and not allowed to do so, which is fucked up.

    BarbaraClark NuckingFuts

I'm sure they could have tried to tranquilize them...especially the tigers. And yeah, dudes an asshole.

Can you really properly take care of a tiger bear lion ect they belong in the wild... just my opinion.
  16. BarbaraClark

    BarbaraClark NuckingFuts

Well when it comes to the point where certain species of them are going extinct..."taking care" of them is the only option.
  17. pookie!

They tried but they animals once shot with a tranq, hit or not, would take off and they dont know how far they are going to run and if they are going to run into some person or what, its a liability and one they shouldnt take. Not worth it IMO.

You cant have it like the wild, but you can have large cats and wolves in a secure setting and keep them safe and well take care of without any problems, some people have acres and acres devoted to their cats and wolves, and with certain near extinct or endangered animals that the best to "the wild" as they can get.
I dont agree that every Joe Shmoe should have a big cat or a wolf, people are stupid as hell and most dont deserve a fish let alone a real wild animal, but there are some people who are doing it right and those people are going to be persecuted because of his bad actions.

Josh and I want an African Serval one day, they are cool as hell.
  19. pookie!

    pookie! GRCH Dog

Servals are pretty cool, but I think you should start with something smaller like a bengal cat and then work your way up, because going from house cat to Serval is a huge leap and they arent anything like house cats. My friend has 3 bengals and they are fucking crazy lol
He had to give one up because it was just to much for him to handle
