American Pitbull Terriers as The Nanny Dog

    My friend posted a link to this article on Facebook and I wanted to share it. I have always heard pitbulls were called the Nanny Dog and here are the photos to prove it!

    I might be wrong, but I've heard it was actually the Staffordshire Bull Terrier that was the Nanny dog.

    Nope, you are correct. Staffy bulls were called nanny dogs and it sort of transferred over to APBT's at some point.
