American Bulldog Boudreaux Pit mix

I found this site when researching the Boudreaux bloodline. I have a 9 week old puppy named Duke. His father is an American Bulldog and his mother is a Boudreaux pit bull. I was not aware that Boudreaux pits were bred for fighting. Does anyone know anything about this bloodline? Should I be worred about aggression problems with him?

Sounds like you should have done more research on the bloodlines and on the American Pit Bull Terrier in general since you think dog agression is a problem.

If your dogs mother was TRULY a heavy Boudreaux bred bitch then it will more than likely be very dog agressive and and will have a very hard bite considering its mixed with an American Bulldog.

Dog Aggression is normal in both the American Pit Bull Terrier AND the American Bulldog, so yes, it's likely your girl will have dog-reactive tendencies as she matures.

Wow. People are funny. Why would anyone get that type of mix, not having a clue?! Bet it is a cute pup, haha.

I think i remember seeing a site about hog hunting and they used this mix. If its the same breeder, both parents hog hunt and they breed both breeds to maintain their yard. Not sure other than they hunted hogs with them though.
