I just wanted to upload some photos of Sonya after her eating prey model raw for 3 months. She is now fully transitioned, eating beef, pork, turkey, goat, chicken, fish, eggs, liver, and kidney. She's been lying around the house during the Florida heat, but now that it's getting tolerable to be outside, I'm planning to keep her more active.

She looks good! Very lean and her fur looks to be in great shape. It'll be nice to see her after working out! She'll look great.

She is beautiful. If you dont mind my asking, what is the general price of food on the raw diet compared to regular bagged dog food?

    Thanks guys!

No, I don't mind at all! I never calculated it, but it feels cheaper since I'm always getting something here and there for a couple of dollars instead of spending 50-70 at a time for a bag of food. I try to look for foods under $1.50/lb and she gets about 1lb/day, so I guess I average out at about $45/month. If you buy in bulk, it's usually much cheaper, more like under $1.00/lb.

wow! what a great change!! she looks fantastic!!

Shannon, like Aprotopo said, it's pretty darn cheap compared to feeding a premium kibble, we pay less than 1$ a lb for grassfed beef organs, lungs, heart etc!

our case is special but, it's still much cheaper even at 1.25-1.50lb bulk will inevitably be cheaper.
