Lucky for me Mr. Garner only lives 34 mins from my house. So, I worked up the courage to call him up and ask if it was ok for me to come visit.

Let me start off by saying the man was super nice, I was even an hour late getting there and he was cool with it. He took me and my buddy around showed us what litters he had and told us who the parents were, showed us the parents if they were close by. I had a ton of questions and he answered everyone of them. I liked a puppy from Otto x Pew III. I do not have the money right now to buy him, but he sure was nice. But who knows...$900.00 goes along ways besides a pup.

Yeah, I'd like to take a ride over that way sometime and get to meet TG and see his yard. Everyone I've known who has met him and been to his yard have nothing but good things to say. :)

Yep TG is super nice.. but he's a businessman. I like him personally... he can be a bit quirky.. I say its from all the steroids he used to do..lol... But next time you're up this way let me know we'll do lunch or something in Hillsborough and talk dogs. :D

TG is a big man... and yes he is a businessman. But, it wasn't like I've read before ie: "puppy mill - with litters all over the ground and dogs tied to whatever." It was pretty organized yard with pens and chain setups.

IF I ever buy a pup, TG would be someone I would consider strongly. He was as nice as can be and man, the guy knows his dogs. I've seen a few yards and been to some shows and I don't think anyone else comes close to him in knowing what they have and how breedings will work inside and out any better.

I'd very much trust him to pick out a pup for me, not something I'd leave to most people.

Man TG is an important figure in the apbt history and in my opinion one of the best breeders out there. I've got 2 garner's here in Brazil. A friend of mine went to his yard and brought some back a couple years back. Great dog excellent temperment and alot of game. Behind her is Midnight.[IMG]

Ive been dying to go out there for a while now. i live out here in east tn so id say it would be like a 5 hour drive out there. Im not planning on getting a dog untill the winter or spring so ive just been trying to do as much research on kennels in my radius as possible. Im leaning more and more TG every day and Ive been reading up on all his dogs.

my dealings w/ the man were great. he was even pleasent when i returned his call @ twelve thirty in the morning. on top of that he sent me one of the most talented dogs i have ever owned. in person he was even nicer. u could do alot worse. i have nothing but respect for him.
