She does slink fairly low to the ground... her head is low and her tail is not way up on her belly but it is between her legs. So I suppose she is fearful. I pm'd you as I don't want everyone involved in this conversation lol

Aww. Why the fuck would anyone feel the need to do that?

Was a "worthless" pup from an oops litter apparently. No idea what the guy did with the other pups. My grandma only saw the one

    That's pretty intense. Poor puppies.
Well we got her about 7 months ago. She has always been kind of wary so maybe she did have a bad experience. I know the original owner was a byb that bred a bunch of dogs... May be a reason.

She could also just have an unstable temperament that needs some reassuring that everything is okay.

I dont like the word unstable. It (to me) implies aggression, which she has never shown to anyone.

Unstable doesn't mean aggression. A dog showing extreme fear is an unstable dog; especially in a breed that is suppose to be 'brave'.

Well she is a mixed breed. Also she is not extremely fearful but moderately. We are constantly working on it.

And thats good. Keep working on her. Never stop. Snow, my White mutt, She has fear issues also. Because of this i have deemed her unstable. But We are working on her interactions with objects, sounds and people. So far for some reason she is still very very iffy about military men. And its all with how they present themselves. But because of this I am always ready with our outings with a muzzle, yummies and a happy 'we can do it' attitude. I will never stop working with her. As long as you can manage the problem, having an unstable dog isn't a bad thing. It just means that you have to keep an extra eye on them and give them some extra TLC. Don't think of it as a bad thing unless they have given you a reason to do so.

I certainly won't. My main concern is my kids but she has never shown fear to them, not one time. She'll actually flop on the floor to let my 5 yr old sit on her. She just smiles lol, that pit bull smile.
If she ever did anything even remotely aggressive with them that would be it.

Same with my dogs. I do not tolerate Human Aggression in Pit bulls. She sounds like a wonderful dog. Its great she gets along so well with your kids.

Well mine is guess too and I call it that. Let's just call it a bull dog smile to be politically correct.

Czar is just too high maintenance...he refused a french fry i gave him...and it came from the goodness of my heart(which rarely happens)...he spat it out...who does that dog think he is...what dog refuses greasy fried food?....to make matters worse, i had to throw it away...its not like i can eat it now...even though Shogun had the "may i devour those fries and be eternally thankful master" look...no shogun..you cant have it...they are tainted...we dont want you catching whatever it is "mr too good for french fries" Czar has. This is when i realized Czar is just too high class for us simple folk...in other words he has become a hipster....changed our relationship forever....and i thought he was perfect.

A dog that refuses a french fry has no place in my home! Waste not, want not! Those extra fries at the bottom of the bag that are cold and not fun to eat can't go in the garbage, someone must consume them, enter, dog! :D

My friends dogs are annoying beggars, they beg, you give them something and they refuse it! Assholes! Apparently they have never eaten human food. Too weird for me!

Snow LOVES going to Sonic because it means she gets the Fries. I hate fries but I love getting a meal with the drink... So Why not?! Its not often so the small cup of fries wont hurt her.

@ Viki- I love your dogs. They are so gorgeous.
