Lol 2 things that you can't do to an animal. Rape or murder. Both words are human actions done to another human. Ar nuts use those words because of how heinous those crimes are. They love using the word Rape stand when writing about a breeding stand or how this person murdered those poor animals. Pulls at the heartstings of the GP. Many animals are not consensual partners when bred in captivity. Horses, cows pretty much any large zoo animal etc. That way of thinking is just far too left field for me. Then again, I don't believe in Animal Rights. I do believe in animal welfare though. If you got one at least provide it's basic needs. Otherwise, it's property to me. It's been taken to the extremes these days.

Breeding stands are for protection of both animals. Some boars are too heavy for a sow to hold up. A breeding stand keeps the sow from having a broken back. Horses, jackasses and other equine can become aggressive when breeding . Breeding stands keep the studs from hurting the mare and keeps the mare from hurting the stud. It is the same with many animals.

Well, I'm certainly not an AR nut. I do consider a pet family, not property. I would never compare an animal to a human. That's where behavioral problems come into play. A dog is a dog but to me, is part of the family. They still have to be managed, trained, etc...as any pet should be. I think these AR nuts do take things to the extreme because they can't draw that line that a dog is still a dog.
As far as a breeding stand goes, that's just what it is, a breeding stand.

I wasn't referring to you, Michelle, directly when I posted that. Hope you didn't take it that way. I was being general.
