Hey everyone! Just wanted to ask a stupid question haha. So my APBT just turned 14 weeks old and he got weighed today. He is 18.5 lbs...is that small for his age? I see people saying their young pitbull puppies around the same age are 30 lbs +. What did your pups weigh around this age? Thanks!!

30lbs @ 3 months sounds like a donkey to me, I’ve got an adult that weighs that. I weigh pups monthly as they grow and none of my adults were ever as heavy as yours @ 3 months. My current pups @ 3 months were from 15.05lbs-17.15lbs. A typical apbt is not a large breed of dog.

Yeah, 30 lbs at 14 weeks sounds more mastiff-caliber to me as well. But I've seen people on several sites like this one swear up and down that their APBT puppies at 3 months weigh 25-30 lbs. That's why I got so worried, thinking my 18.5 lbs pitbull is too small! Thanks for your answer!
