    JC has passed away

Michele, I know I'm very late for this but I remember how deeply you loved him. I'm so sorry for your loss. He had a good long life with you and I hope you've been able to find peace in that.

Haven't been on here in awhile, but I lost my precious Chloe last November.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know it's hard but you made the right decision to let her go. It sounds like it was time and she was ready.

    Diagnosed w/ Degenerative Myelopathy

What's up... It's been a HOT minute since I've been on here.. I'm betting most here don't know me and there's very few who are still here from back when I used to spend a lot of time on this forum. I have no idea if/how active this forum still is. This is kind of a long shot so I'll just put it...

What do you think of this recipe for allergies?

Oooo I love ripping these apart x'D;) No reason to cook the eggs. Your dog can better utilize them raw. I wouldn't give them every day though. A few per week is plenty. I would warm the coconut oil enough to melt it, but not cook it. Raw is best. I agree with ETRaven about the baths. Also, be...

    Fitness

We're always talking about our dogs' health. What do you do for your own health and fitness? I follow IIFYM for my meals. Basically a track and weigh everything I eat or drink (funnily enough, I also do this for the dogs, lol). I don't "clean eat". I still treat with ice cream or cookies...

    Pup limp

You need to take him to the vet asap. 1 week is WAY too long. He should have gone in days ago.

    Introducing the Corleone's!!!

Not really a cat person but they are pretty freaking cute. Lol Did you raw feed or am I thinking of someone else? If it was you, are you going to raw feed the cats?

I will see you again sweet girl. RIP Raven, I love you.

ETRaven, I remember posting with you years ago. I'm so sorry you had to make this decision but you absolutely made the right one. You did the right thing for Raven by letting her go when you did instead of waiting until she was possibly confiscated and euthanized by strangers. I'm so sorry...

Does this look like happy tail?

At least daily. Probably every few hours since it'll probably wear off or wipe off throughout the day.

Does this look like happy tail?

I'd put some liquid bandage on it and see if it heals up. Dogs don't really like the taste so if it keeps reopening, it might be a happy tail issue rather than someone chewing on it.

Puppy dies after being found beaten, stabbed in suitcase

I didn't read the article. I can't read this kind of stuff anymore. But wtf is wrong with people!!

Does this look like happy tail?

Could be. Are there abrasions on the end? Or a rash? Could also just be getting chewed on if there's a rash or it's itchy.

    Community noob...

Definitely! The number in the scale means very little. It's all about how your dog (or you) carries the weight.

    Community noob...

Welcome to PBC! For her ideal weight, it's hard to say since so many factors can affect weight. I'd just put her on a cut/reduced diet and/or increased exercise. As she loses weight, you'll be able to visually see where she's at and find a good stopping point. Feel free to post progress pics...

Good "no pull" harness for Am. Staff?

Oh about that weirdo impatient chick? Lol

Good "no pull" harness for Am. Staff?

Honestly I'd just buy the one from PetsMart. If it doesn't work after a week, you can easily return it and try something else.

Good "no pull" harness for Am. Staff?

If you go with a harness, choose one that the leash attaches on the front heat piece. If it attaches on the back, it encourages pulling (look at weight pullers). Attaching on the front slows the dog from pulling or trying to run without the risk of strain on the neck. The catch though is that...
