    Advice with my pup

I also have a male staffy. He is just over a year old and has been mouthy his whole life. His dad and the other males the breeder had were also. They are a mouthy breed. Funny thing is its not as big a problem with the females. I tell people its a staffy handshake. No harm meant by it, even when...

UKC Re-Opens Single Regsitration AND recognizes the AmBully as it's own breed!

Man that sucks about dogs with titles or registered offspring being exempt. Could've dusted off Chiefs show lead.

The UKC Recognizes the American Bully!

As of July 15th the UKC will recognize the American Bully as their own breed. I believe they are going to transfer papers for those who have Apbt listed on their UKC registration to the American Bully. Single dog applications also available. I hope this is a step in the right direction for this...

Question for those of y'all that show your dogs

What registry held the show? Usually points from a disqualified dog are awarded to the runner up. You could contact the registry to be sure.

    when to show?

You can start training for the conformation ring with your pups now. Like getting them used to wearing a collar and being on lead, stacking and standing (still) for examination. Points at dog shows start when pups are 6 months old. Good luck with them.

Thanks everyone. His personality is great he always makes me smile and laugh. He's so athletic too for a small dog, and smart. What gates he can't jump he figures out how to open. Lots of energy. His nickname is Captain Insano!

What's your favorite class of bully and why?

Thanks Good OL Boy. They are "bully" for classic dogs but I've had them out to several shows and they're definitely classic. Seeing them in person is the key I guess. Too much leg and not enough girth to be considered otherwise. But lucky me...I wouldn't want them any other way! :doggyhug2:

If puppies are introduced to separate bedding/potty areas early on (whelping box) they do better with not wanting to go in the crate. Also...
