| Hello, I am a NYC Police Officer that works out of the 20th precinct. On January 31st, 2007 my coworkers rescued a mixed pit bull from a cruel owner. The owner had thrown the baby pit down a garbage chute and left him there. His girlfriend called us and it took us some 2 hours to dig him out of all that garbage. I Initially he was supposed to go to the Center for animal care and control which is our procedure. I could not see he spending what could be his last days in a shelter to be put down. I took him in as a foster dad. It has become increasingly hard to find him a good home, and difficult on me because I am allergic to dogs. He is a kind loving dog who gets along well with other dogs and even cats. He really loves my 2 year old son. They play and roughhouse all day long and Lucky never even so much as nipped at my son. I am surviving on tons of asthma medication and don't think I can stand it much longer since I do enjoy to breath. :-) Please help, he is a wonderful dog who only needs to be loved. Thank you, Andrew Dorsett Home-718-461-1417 Cell-917-696-2758 Work- 212-580-6411 (20 Precinct number, I work from 4 |
