You understand... not just chewed it....he ATE it!...like, it went in one end and came out the other.

And here I am, mixing his Seameal with canned lamb, and mixing the best premium kibble I can lay my hands on, dice carrots, apples... add yogurt.. the best supplements the vet recommended and he eats the Kong. Reminds me of my son. Sheeesh!

P.S. We did real well at Doo Dah Day... we smelled 1,245 dogs' butts, licked 128 babies, high-fived 47 men and 89 ladies... it was our first time out in a crowd. I think we are ready to run for Prezeedent!

mine doesn't eat them she just rips them to shreds in a matter of minutes!! I resisted a galielo for a long time ( the shape gives me the creeps ) but I'll tell you its the ONLY toy that has lasted for so long. And I love that it doesnt come off in chunks just little teeny tiny shreds so there is nothing for her to choke on.

Be careful. My old girl Nyx {RIP} ate a kong with her previous owner and wound up needing surgery to remove it. I'd get him some nylabones or something else he can't break hunks off of if he's swallowing it.

LMAO..yep! Those things are not what they are cracked up to be, we had a dog that would tear it up in a couple of minutes....

I agree with ZOE, please be careful.....Tabious had to have surgery from intestinal blockage (removed 1 foot of intestines and the blockage)....it is very dangerous, we almost lost him. With this you either lose the dog, or you have a TREMENDOUS vet bill! Intestinal blockage was no run in the park for him, poor thing was absolutely miserable.

Absolutely. As soon as I saw that he could chew it up, I took it out of the crate. That thing has been in the crate for weeks and he never showed any interest, except to scoop out the peanut paste I squeezed into it.

We will stick with rawhide "bones" and puzzle balls with treats in them.

Nick can destroy one of them in a couple hours! No joke!

My sisters springer spaniel was really really sick from eating a black kong...it was a completely freak thing but a bit of the kong cut his intestines and he got septic...almost died...and the kong did not show up on the x-ray

Johnny, get the Galielo (sp?) bone... you can get it at PetsMart or Pet Co. If you get the "giant" Galielo, it's about $25, but it is the ONLY thing they can't destroy. They are a bit creepy to look at, and expensive, but when you add up the cost of all the others, it's worth it. I couldn't believe I spent $25 on a dog toy that looked like that, but it has been worth the money, and Mollie is no where near tearing it up.... they are about the best I've ever gotten.... just don't look at it.... lol
