Default Poll question

so after the thread on inside/outside dogs, i thought a poll would be nice to see how we all house our dogs. please select which applies to your housing of your dogs.

inside

outside

both

i was the first to vote, and as i already stated i keep mine inside. i would really like to see the same poll at game-dog and see the results there.

thanks to all who participate.

Inside with regular access to a fenced yard. But she's being all pissy-bitch about going outside because of the Amazonian grass and Jurassic Park mosquitos we've got going on. So where a month ago, she would've wanted to sunbathe, now she's like: pee, poo, back inside within 60 seconds wanting a cookie.

Mostly inside. I don't trust my neighbors enough to leave my dogs out unsupervised.

One doesn't have to be absolutely against outdoor dogs to know that 99 percent of the time they are not kept outdoors in acceptable condiitons.

I will grant that the fraction of one percent of outdoor dog owners who have the right setup, the right climate, all the time to do it right etc ... A tiny fraction and I think a lot of people are fooling themselves that they meet all the criteria for acceptable conditions.

If ... let's say just for example your outdoor dogs are being tortured by fleas and you decide the shade is the problem so you conclude "Oh well they are just going to have to be hot for awhile" ...

Well some of us may not consider that acceptable outdoor dog conditions.

Ugh, one thing I don't like is not being able to edit my posts after 5 minutes on this forum, because I have a problem with "shooting off" like in that last post and then regretting being so harsh. So to Chinasmom if you read my last post please accept my apology ... I do not necessarily think that you are keeping your dogs in unfit conditions.

I explained my concerns better in the "fleas" thread; I am just worried about how hot you are talking about if you take those kennnels out of the shade, because tarp roofs can get really bad in the sun.

It is supposed to hit 100 here so heat is on my mind and it is affecting my brain too, obviously

The wording of this post has nothing to do with my views on outside dogs...maybe its too subtle for you but this was worded so that you can assume that I already knew about your deliberate censorship of me...please stop harrassing me on the board with your negating and pointless replies to my posts..if you have something to say pertinent to the thread then make your own post ...thank you

Rule of thumb for all of you....post to the post, not to the poster. Keep the emotions and negativity to yourself.
Thank you.
