Has he been to the vet? If he is peeing while he is walking it could be a medical issue like a bladder infection.

I'm with Chiapit, has he been to the vet?

If it turns out to be a bladder control issue (UTI), antibiotics should take care of it. If it's bladder control related (age), phenopropanalamine does wonders.

I'm also wondering if this couldn't be due to anxiety. My APBT does stuff like this for attention, acepromazine really helped to calm him down.

I think veterinary intervention is the only way to go. At least you'll get some peace in knowing what you should and shouldn't be doing for him. Stress ain't a good thing.

he has been to the vet and makes out fine.i also took a urine sample to work with me( i work in a lab) and it is fine, so medically he is ok. i dont think he is stress, he is just hyper. but man i couldt believe it this morning .how would doing NILF work with him? its like at this last dog show on his down and back he was squating and peeing while gaiting!!!!!

Shady: Huskylove could tell you how to handle this. I"ll make sure she sees this thread........as far as NILIF, i dont know why i posted that. The only problem your dog has is the peeing..so, he really doesnt need NILIF...

Pointers are crazy. Though the ones I know have bowel issues not bladder issues.

Not sure what to tell you. Does he have bedding in his crate? If he does take it out as dogs are less likely to pee in their crate if there isn't anything to soak up the urine. Also give him the smallest possible crate to be in until he "gets" it.

how old is the dog? a puppy can actually have an underdeveloped bladder that isn't "caught up" to the rest of it's body yet. maybe something you just have to wait on. it can happen in human kids, hey maybe it can happen in dogs too. just some .02

Unless you plan on continuing showing him, snip him, like yesterday , excessive testosterone can cause excessive urination, and if you are going to finish him, you can always get him chemically castrated.

Stop picking on that poor sweet boy LOL

Hopefully it is a maturity thing and he will stop. Limit water intake, try not to get him all excited (ya I know that's a hard one to do), take him out often

That is the only advice I have
