 Ty Beanie Babies "Ty Company" Ty started producing Beanie Babies in 1996 as a toy for small children. Soon adults were collecting the pillow-like toys. "Bruno" was the 1st Bully available on December 31, 1997. He was retired on September 18, 1998.  "Butch" was the 2nd Bully available on January 1, 1999.
