Default Blue Tri, URGENT-ADOPTED!

Gordo killed a kitty. Bad Gordo. AC brought him in, no charges are being pressed, but Gordo cannot be adopted out at the HS.

PNWPBR has a shortage of foster homes right now ( ) and we have nowhere for Gordo, but I thought it would be worth a shot to see if ANYONE else does.

Can we say STUNNING?

I love that color. Those and the red/chocolate tris as well. Too bad you only ever see blue tri on the bully-type dogs. Its a beautiful color.

Condemned to death because he killed a cat?

Uhm, unlike Purple, I like cats (we have two), but still feel that a dog killing a cat is not that abnormal ...

Its not abnormal, but in this breed it does add more to the negative stereotype. Not to mention that an everyday adopter that walks into the shelter who will fall in love with him because he is beautiful (and he is!) will be able to handle him safely on walks, ect. Letting a cat-killer go to the general public instead of properly screened in rescue is a risk that could possibly just add another nail in the coffin.

"Pit Bull kills neighborhood cat.... tonite at 11!"

Sad aint it? Hes a looker and a sweetheart.... but his chances are slim.

That actually happened here. Well, in North Van. Two pits killed a cat and the concept of BSL started rearing it's head due to the news report. Yes, news report, about it.

Agree on both...

He has a lot of personality in his face.

I don't understand how killing a cat makes him no longer wanted.

An update on Gordo...he is SAFE!

He is resting comfortably in a spare bedroom at my house, as he has decided crates are NOT his thing. He's quite sick with kennel cough, but on a myriad of meds to help him get better so he can go and be denutted!

Hes a big mush, all he wanted to do last night was sleep, with his big (HUGE) head in my lap, drooling contently.

Pics taken by Violet after I picked him up from Victoria.

Good to hear he is safe. His head shape and size reminds me of Notch.
