Default Legislation Alert, CT!

Permission to cross post!! Spread the word!

02-21-08

All you folks in CT, it's here. I was advised at our kennel club
meeting last nite that Governor Rell has decided to assemble a "task
force" to explore mandatory spay and neuter in the state of
Connecticut. You folks who have been following similar proposals
across the country know what these things snowball into. It is
*essential* that word spread to all breeders, fanciers, and anyone
else with an interest in preserving their pet-owning freedoms in the
State to contact their state reps and DEMAND that this task force
include fair representation from the Connecticut Dog Federation, AKC,
and local hobby breeders. Otherwise the AR and the ignorant (and many
fall into both categories) will be making the rules FOR us!

We can't afford to sit on our hands and hope "someone else" will stand
up for our rights!
