Yesterday, we let Beauty go. It was so hard and so many times while we were waiting, I was tempted to turn around and walk out that door with her. It was especially hard because 99.9% of the time she was perfect. It was that other .1% of instability that spoke the loudest, sadly. I hope her last months, spent with us, let her feel valued and loved, because she was. It will always hurt my heart, that the one person who had her back, she saw as a threat, when there was none. I'm so sorry Beauty and I hope you are free of your fears now. Run free girl.

Thanx guys. Venus just passed today around noon as well. Two dogs in less than 24 hours. I just don't have the heart to do a memorial post for Venus. She was my heart dog, my canine soul mate. :'(

I am so sorry for your tremendous loss of both Venus and Beauty, Zoe. Both your lovely girls have crossed over to paradise. May they rest in peace and may you find comfort soon.
