Default What is up with my dogs ear

I recently noticed a growth in my dogs ear. It looks kind of like a wart, or a mole, and it is pretty big i would say about 1 cm. in diameter, maybe a wee bit smaller. Any ideas on what this might be? It popped up in what seems like over night.

It could be a number of things. I suggest you schedule an appointment with your vet so he/she can check it out. It may be something that needs to be removed and sent off for histiopath.

You definitely want to make a vet appt to get it checked out. Could be a fatty tumor or one of many other benign tumors or something worse. Easier to be safe than sorry.....

Yes, I will ask the vet when I take him in for his vaccinations/tags/liscense this month. It is just really strange how it just appeared.
