So I know my dog plays with some weird things, and I know that our friends pits all chew with some weird-er things.


For example, Chev, plays with soda cans, and bags, and almost anything thats funny for us.

He also loves this ONE stuffed animal, that we call his baby, he just as of, 5 minutes ago, ripped its head off.


And my Husbands boss owns two staffs and a pit, the pit has his own 10 pound bowling ball he carries around.

But I do have to admit, Chev can chew down a rawhide alllll day long.
What weird things do your dogs love?

Plastic bags, soda cans, and anything else that they can bite into.

Water Bottles are my dogs fav toy, but if they need a snack then it is a branch or the fence and when I say snack I mean snack. They chew it up and swallow it down. I hate it.

Abby ripped apart both of marlos beds she also like to play with stuffed animals but they do not last very long and my dirty socks Both her and marlo play tug of war with them I try to make sure they do not get them sucks having stretched out socks with holes. Marlo loves plastic bottle.. Abby like rawhide bones but she will eat one of the big ones in a hour or so I do not give them very often cant be good for the tummy she eats them she does not chew on them

I've gone through at least 4,some claiming they were bite resistant..

Last week it looked like it snowed in the basement because he un-did the stitching of the bed and the foam was EVERY where...

Plastic Bottles and Toilet Paper Rolls! Those are ours favorites. Outside and inside cow legs I got at walmart have lasted a whole year.

The squeakers in stuffed toys. They shred the toy and abandon it, but they will tug with the plastic squeakers and keep them for weeks. If they get under the couch, they will cry until I get them out. Obsessed. Two if mine will play with one squeaker for an hour at a time.

My pup has dog toys he like, but his favorite things are toilet paper rolls, and a toilet brush ( never used ) that he stole out of a shopping bag I left on the floor for a minute, he zooms around with it, bites the bristles, barks at it, throws and stalks it. Didn't have the heart to take it away.

My dogs are boring. Nylabones and sticks mostly, but tank is a character. Last week vi had him at worh and he was going crazyh by tghe dumpster. He reached his paw under and swiped out a w foot section of jute rope. He has now been carrying it nonstop! He hides it in his bed before dinner too. When he first found the rope, he pranced around like a guy who just won lotto. And when he has a toy with a squeaker, he takes out the squeaker and walks around chewing it like bubblegum-squeak squeak until I take it away. I'm afraid he would choke on it.

JC has tons of toys but he has one favorite stuffed ball. He's had it for a couple of years now. Usually, when he gets a new stuffed toy, he will rip off the eyes, ears and whatever else is hanging off the toy

Macho is pretty boring. He plays with his frisbee. He is OBSESSED with the Frisbee. I got a kong frisbee said to be indestructible. Yeah ok. Other than that raw hides and balls are his thing.

Indestructible only applies to normal dogs. A pit bull with toys is like the difference between a shovel and dynamite.
Michelle, we have a theory that dogs rip out the eyes first so the toy will not be able to see what they arfe about to do with it. I still have no explation yet for chewing off the nose.

Pepper loves her scooter tire. When she is in the back yard, she bark and bark for us to come out and roll the tire. It is funny to watch he carry it around the back yard.

Goren actually PLAYS with his rawhides/pigsears before starting even chewing on them, like I threw it out there then give him the command to let him have it and he goes nuts on it its pretty funny to watch. He also plays with crickets before consuming them to. Leaves, I do not let him have plastic bags or things like that, he plays with his bedding (ceder chips now since he destroyed his bed) I think that is about it, sometime I will have to video him playing with his rawhide.

Oh yeah, leaves- tank chased one all the way across the field at work. He was visibly dissapointed when he caught and identified it.
I can't give my dogs pig ear or rawhide, they just eat them.... and then tthrow them up on the couch. But those pigskin twists are good, and my 7 year old daughter discovered the dogs new love- whole pigs feet with the skin and ankle still on. She made me buy them for the dogs ywesterday, and all I heard for an hour was crunch crunch. Bonus, they only cost me $.30 each, and make up about 1/3 of a meal.
