Default How Do I Stop Her From Biting

Hi All!

We have a 3 month old pit that is a very sweet girl but from time to time she will jump up and snap at me (only me doesn't bother my husband) - I don't think its anger but occasionally she will catch a finger or an arm and it does hurt anyone else experience this or have suggestions on what to do? Other than that she is really a sweet dog.

It's normal puppy behavior...you have to teach her bite inhibition, especially now
I like this article
http://www.crickethollowfarm.com/biteinhib.htm

ETA: when you pup is biting you, they are learning how to use their mouths appropriately...it usually calms down around 4-4 1/2 months if you do your job right teaching them how to have a soft mouth

Sometimes playing but most times not - she is really hyper and will do the 8ft jump up in the air and grab hold to whatever she can get usually clothing but occasionally skin. I chalked it up as puppy behavior but wanted to make sure this was normal and I wasn't in for something more serious down the line as she gets bigger
