Default Stillwater Harness and Collar - 56k beware

WOW! Just WOW!

Today, I received from Stillwater Kennels, a ZK Leather Walking Harness and a Super Heavy Duty 3-Ply Leather Collar (black on brown).

To say that I am very pleased would be an understatement. I'm blown away with the obvious ruggedness and durability of the these leather products. Thank You Stillwater Kennel Supply http://www.stillwaterkennelsupply.com/index.htm .

Pictures of Rowdy.

looks great on your dogs...I plan on getting stuff from Stillwater pretty soon. The pups necks are getting pretty thick and a heavy duty collar will soon be needed.

The collar is extremely stiff and initially somewhat difficult to unbuckle and buckle. I know that it will loosen up, break in over time. It is heavy too (for a collar).

The edges of the thick leather are beveled so there are no sharp corners. It is unlined. I will watch Rowdy closely to see it is not rubbing in a bad way.

Did I mention the collar is stiff?

A little mink oil will soften them up. Those are some good pics of Rowdy, be sure to send me a few.

Also I should have some real nice 1.5" leather collars ready in a week or so.

Shane (Stillwater Kennel Supply), Thank You for the very high quality products provided! I have no doubt, whatsoever, that they will provide years, and years of trouble free service.

The collar will loosen up with use, of that I am sure. Just working it by hand today, has made it much more pliable and the dogs will take care of the rest. I am extremely satisfied, blown away in fact, with the quality of the collar. I just wanted everyone to be aware that IMO, the collar arrives in a very stiff and pristine condition. I meant in no way to knock the quality and attention to detail apparent in its construction. I greatly appreciate the advice on softening the leather should that be necessary.

Shane, you have my unconditional permission to use any picture that I post here of Rowdy. You may copy these pictures and post on your site or use as you wish. You may also take all or part of any comment I have made regarding your products and use as you see fit. Be assured that should you decide to take me up on that offer, I would surely not be disappointed. Sometimes emails get overlooked or for whatever reason, don't make it through and I wanted you to know you have my permission to use these words and images.

Thanks Shane!

Well, Shane, you have another satisfied repeat customer.

I just ordered one of the 1.5" Super Heavy Duty Leather Collars.

That is some fine leather work. I have the Nylon 2-ply but going to have to get some leather now. Your dog looks grand in it.
