How often do you take your dog or dogs out with you?(this doesn't include walks) If you do, where do you take them? If you have more than one, do you take them together or separate? Have you ever taken your dog on vacation with you, if so where?

my dogs rarely leave the property besides walks and vet visits...I'll bring Notch with me to drop off the garbage though, because he loves to ride in the truck...But besides that, we might bring him to Wilson's Creek, but we only did that once and it was before it got busy. Otherwise, they stay home. Never brought them on vacation with us, but I am thinking about bringing Tess with me next time I go home to PA.

Trouble goes with me everywhere. We go camping and fishing all the time, late night field partys, friends houses, the parents house, parks, etc. If he is allowed, he gets to go. Even if im just running errands, hes totally content with just going along for the ride, even though he doesnt get exercise it works his mind looking around and seeing the world. He is always pooped after a good car ride.

I pretty much always let a dog go for a ride when I'm heading to McD's, Sonic, or someplace like that where they don't get out of the car. They like to place their own orders.......

To be honest, other than that they don't go anywheres out in public. I've had some bad experiences with Yorkies on 20 ft. retractable leashes in a Petsmart and Baton Rouge isn't really a dog friendly place (meaning dogs aren't allowed anywhere).

rufus goes everywhere possible with me. jesse goes with me to local stores but she stays in the truck. sonny used to go out w/ me alot but his legs are not good so he stays home..

I take them on frequent rides for fast food, convienent store, Blockbuster etc.

When I can get a second person to come with me, I go to less populated beaches, parks, softball games, hiking, eating outside at certain restaurants, to beach strips. Any place where running into dogs isn't a very good chance.

btw I don't keep her in the car for long. Hawaii is hot all the time, plus she has proven car destruction worthy...::insert eye roll::

I take my dogs pretty much everywhere. Unless it is really hot and there might be a chance of them having to stay in the car. I do make them take turns going, though.

JC has been to Florida. JC has been to the country hanging out with his 2 friends, Tito and Benjamin JC is mostly an inside dog but I do take him on vacations with me and I take him outside for short walks when the weather is warm. I have taken him food shopping with me

I take my dogs wherever I can. If I'm going on vacation it's usually camping or something so the dogs always go. If I'm going somewhere in public with lots of people, I usually only take Divina. It depends on what I'm doing and where I'm going though. I may take Cori as long as I'm not doing anything that makes it difficult to handle her. She gets a little freaked by all the strangers so it's sometimes a lot to deal with.

I used to take one with me all of the time everywhrere I went......even on vacation...from here I drove straight to Rapid City south dakota...boy was that ever fun! Seriously! We had a blast....23 hours through...he was great, could not have asked for a better dog in the car that long...he had his trail walks along the way and when we go there, the hotel where we stayed, well lets just say, he didnt like it, and no pets were allowed....LMAO..He ripped the carpet to shredds, and my sister and I sewed it back together, and never told anyone, and nobody ever knew, and he was happier than hell to leave and go back home....although he did like going to the park to see the bears.....LMAO!

I have 3 dogs, Jackson, Echo and Luna.
Jack pretty much goes everywhere with Mama. Echo only gets to ride in the car once in a while, she likes to find trouble and Luna is still a pup, she only gets to go pick up Daddy or when I run to pick up fast food. I don't trust her enough to leave in the car for too long. I have an acre that's fenced in so they get most of their exercise there and when we go for walks. It's been very cold her in Pa so walks have been limited.

Scooter and Magic go to work with me everyday and one or the other goes pretty much everywhere they can.

Charlie is too old now and his legs won't handle much walking, so it's short walks and he goes in the truck when hub is going and can lift him in and out. Kind of the same with Cinder. She can walk further, but can't get in and out of the truck without help and at 73lbs, I'm not lifting her by myself

I take my dog to the beach, to the park, on hikes, on trips to the store, to run errands, to restaurants with outdoor seating - heck she even follows me to the bathroom. Also take my dog(s) on vacation with me all the time. For some reason nicer the hotel more likely they are to allow dogs.

We try to go training once a week, so they definitely go to that. Then we go places like Southern Agriculture (which is like the Tulsa equivalent of Petsmart + a feed store). Or to the park. And I take Loki with me when I go see the new house, that is until recently when trips out there started involving loads of our belongings. Other than that, Loki gets to go with me anytime I run quick errands in the car: post office, fast food, gas station, etc.

Lucy loves to go for car-rides. I brought her every where I could, even to a pet friendly restaurant. The bank that I use will even let me bring her in, they adore her. I vacation with her, its really easy to find a pet-friendly hotel, especially since she is uner 50 lbs.

yes...it was quite a surprise to have a 60lb dog prance through my lap and almost out the drivers side window and into the Sonic drive thru window at midnight somewhere in Ga. or Tenn.
