Default Who built their own doghouse?

Did anyone here build their own doghouse? Do you have plans you want to share? How about pictures? How was your house made?

My dad builds them in his off-time... He goes all out.. For instance, he made a 2 bedroom doghouse with a front porch for my dogs when we come to visit... And his dogs have a basement, a level floor, and then a second story were they will climb the stairs and be "on top of the world"...

Here's some pictures...

Baxter(deceased) in the doghouse and Isabella laying out on the porch...

Baxter inside the doghouse...

Baxter and Isabella hanging out playing in front of their doghouse... My dad put tarp down so they wouldn't have to get dirty...

Baxter and Isabella chilling...

Ranger(one of my parents dog) upstairs on his doghouse...

No, he raised the doghouse onto posts so the dogs can get under it... They like that doing that during the summer when the Texas heat is bad and it's so cool under there...

we use a 55 gallon plastic drum, and put an awning over it, and put a little stand to hold it, and that's the doghouse. I'll have to take a picture of it for you tomorrow.

ok....I went and got them...

I like to have the hallways in there to help keep out unwanted wind rain and snow when it does it...in the winter, or if we know we are gtting a bad rainstorm.....the dogs love them...keeps them cleaner and drier, and a lot warmer.

I was thinking to build dog house IN SIDE THE HOUSE, since Pimu allway sleeps under my blanket, and shes getting kind a big, and Hevi is about to get MUCH bigger than Pimu (my yangest), we have perfect corner for them, nothing fancy, but something for them to feel comfortable in, and they can allway watch the bedroom door
