Angry Pit Bull Dealer Says His Dogs Aren't Violent

3 On Your Side Investigates: Pit Bull Dealer Says His Dogs Aren't Violent

by Bert Case
bert@wlbt.net

Despite all the bad publicity Pit Bull dogs have gotten, WLBT News found a man is southern Hinds County who makes money selling the dogs. He says people want them for protection, and he does not raise his dogs to fight.

Retired Air Force recruiter Glen Foster lives on Midway Estates Drive in Terry. WLBT originally got a complaint he was abusing the dogs, but when we went to investigate he invited us into his home and showed us how he had spent $60,000 building a facility for the dogs and plans to spend another $40,000. There were no signs of abuse.

The dogs sell for $1,500 to $2,500, and he sells them mostly on the Internet. He said one of his customers recently sent a dog back because it was too gentle.

Ok this clown is an idiot. In one sentence he states he has them for protection......PUKE BTW.......then the moron states somebody sent one back because it's too nice! Then we wonder why our breed is in trouble. Not to mention his main goal is $$$$$$

This just burns my ass!

yep, it's like here this guy almost did right by the breed by showing how well they are taken care of, but then boom! Ruins all that with "protection" and $$$...grrr...This was like a catch-22 article.

It's these types of owners that we must take a stand AGAINST!

I encourage everyone to take a bit of time out of their day and write a letter explaining that we, as fellow "pit bull" owners, do not approve of this man or what he does with his dogs. We have to let the general public know that we are not all alike!
