to all members of the forum. i just wanted to post a little bit of babble about me and my being on the forum. i guess what i'd really like to get across is i'm not the ass some may think i am, nor am i here to start trouble. i am very passionate about certain issues and i will voice my opinion strongly when i participate in such threads. i won't say i've never crossed the line and said stupid shit i shouldn't have, that would be a lie, and when i did/do and think i was in the wrong i have always made an attempt to patch things up with whomever i wronged. even when i don't feel i was in the wrong if an exchange has taken place i have usually always tried to contact whomever i exchanged "words" with and make sure they at least knew where i was coming from and establish some sort of dialogue with them so we can continue to all be active members here. sometimes after sleeping on things you realize you could have handled things differently, and sometimes after sleeping on them again i'm glad i handled it the way i did. all in all i think this is a good forum with much knowledge to be shared. i appreciate anybody who takes the time to read anything i post. i grew up in a hardass home that handled things direct and to the point so i guess that is why i usually am the same way here. it's hard to undo a lifetime of living bold and to the point. i never really believed in babying or sweet talk. i think we all as human being should be able to be told the truth without going off the deep end like our feelings were just hurt beyond repair. we're not 5 for gosh sakes! i believe if you don't want your business discussed........then don't post it in an open forum on the internet!!!!!!!!!!! if you do post it, then i believe it to be fair game with whatever opinion anybody has on it! i've done stupid shit before...no doubt. just as recently as last week as a matter of fact. i won't go into details, i'll just say i had a yard accident.....THAT WAS MY FAULT....i had some hardcore people tell me the truth which was......HEY DUMBASS THAT WAS YOUR FAULT!!!!!!!.....which i replied to......"yeah i know you're right..i feel like a fucking moron!" the point being....i could have been all crybaby like...."my dogs are hurt isn't that enough"?.....but honestly i feel i deserved to be reminded by whomever felt like chiming in that i was indeed a dumbass for letting happen what i let happen!

so in closing i just want to basiclly say, i'm sorry for anyone i've ever offended and a future apology to anyone i offend in the future. it is not my intent to do so, just my intent to get my pov out there cuz i usually feel i have a valid contribution to anything i post to.

I think this is a great point that a lot of people tend to overlook. When you post something on a public forum you should be prepared for others to question, disagree, and offer counter opinions. You should also be prepared to back up your opinions, stand by them or accept another's opinion if it ends up making more sense than yours( let's face it, not everyone is right all the time) . All too often I see people going into a defensive mode if someone questions their opinion, on either side of the conversation, or trying to ram their opinion down the other persons throat, instead of discussing it with an open mind.

If everyone agreed, what would be the point or fun of a forum, it's great to be passionate and have debates and differences of opinion, that's how we learn, as long as we do it in an adult, respectful and civil manner.

Nice post boggie......you know I am with ya! We had our BAD fallout before on "the other board" and seriously....I was sooo wrong and we argued, and we figured it out....it takes someone from the outside to point your faults, mistakes, or just overall corrections about anything.

After all was said and done...I feel like I have gained a new best friend, that I truly charish. He is a great guy, that just speaks his mind...like some of us do!
I have always been told that being bold ad straight to the point was a good characteristic for people to have, it will stop the stepping on and using of others.......trust me!
