| AKA as a pup could not walk, we thought Sheena broke his ankles with the brood box that they were in, we took him to the vet when he was 5 weeks old, we noticed he wasn't walking around he was scooting around and the vet x-Rad his front paws and showed us the x-ray and said his bones had not fully developed, it was nothing Sheena did while she was pregnant, it was just something that happens. She said I wouldn't put him down right now, I would give him physical therapy and see how that does, so we gave him physical therapy 3 times a day for 3 months and look at him now, he's can walk, run, jump and has won Best of Show in the last 2 shows we took him too and 1st place in his age group ![]() ![]() Last edited by Marty; 05-06-2007 at 11:28 PM.. | That's a great story, Marty. It's always nice to hear stories with a happy ending. I know you're glad you gave AKA a chance and I'm sure he's glad you did, too. ![]() |

| That's a great story. Man you have some BEAUTIFUL dogs and i've looked at AKA in your gallery at game-dog. I would have never thought ANYTHING was ever wrong with that dog. I'm still partial to LIL BIT though. Your a good man Marty. |

| You would never know that there was anything wrong with him. I actually showed AKA for best in show last time and I'm telling you, he pulls like a truck. I have walked some strong dogs but that dog was a challenge! Of course, I am not a big guy but I'm sure he would wear anyone down quick. |

| Great story. Maybe others will realize that sometimes great bulldogs are the ones that need the most time and patience, and they won't be so quick to judge their pups and prospects. |
