| I rescued Griffin from the Meriden Dog Pound yesterday. He was due to be put down today. I have 3 children under 4 yrs and its too much for him plus I have a female pit as well. Please help me find a forever home for this lovebug. He is excellent with adults. You can handle him and treat him as in clean his teeth, ears etc with no problem. He is about 1-2 years old. Seems to be fine with other dogs. Older kids would be best. Please contact me at dl.lanceleve@verizon.net I live in MA. I can't keep him I need to be able to place him somewhere safe and where he can get the love he deserves Email me for pics |

| welcome to the forum!! that is great you rescued him from being euthanized.. however, do you know why he was turned into the shelter?? since you saved him from death, you should really keep him and foster him for at least 3 months to make sure his temperment is stellar and 100% sound.. sometimes, its not the best idea to save a dog hours/days from death if you cant keep the dog to assess his /her temperment... you cant save them all, and only the truly 100% stellar ones should be saved, and kept in foster care until they are adopted. good luck finding him a home, and here is to hoping his temperment is 100% sound.. do not "save dogs from euthansia " if you cant keep them until they find their forever home- that is not fair to the dog. |
