From Kirby's owner: I adopted a beautiful pure-bred Staffordshire Bull Terrier from Yakima three and half years ago named Kirby. She is a 38 lbs. purebred with all of her papers from the Canadian Kennel Club showing her lineage. Kirby will turn seven on April 21, 2008. She is spayed and up-to-date with her shots. In terms of her temperament she is very playful, loves the Frisbee, tennis ball, and lots of long walks/jogs. She thinks she is a lap dog as well. She is an AKC Good Canine Citizen graduate, but she does have a few behavior issues. She is not good with cats and will go after some dogs particularly female dogs. She also needs a fenced in yard as she is a runner. She loves kids, but she is a bit rambunctious with toys and so I keep her away from toddlers. I am willing to keep her as long as it takes to find the right home. It tears me up to lose her, but between 60 hour work weeks and night school I don’t have the time to give her the care and attention she needs.
