Default How does your dog respond?

You and your dog are in your car. You stop at a trafic light and someone reaches in your window and unlocks the door and jumps in the seat next to you. Would the hand have even made it in far enough to unlock the door? What happens once the intruder is inside your car?

My first guess is something like: "Aaaaaaah! Mommy, the stranger is in my seat! Let me sit in your lap!" But my dog has never actually been pushed like that, so I don't know, she may surprise me.

I depends on my reaction most probably. If I knew the person, chances are the dog would just be excited for them to come along for the ride.

Without actually putting any of my dogs through that test, the most I could say is that some would bark at the offensive person. (We never truly know how our dogs will react until they've been put into that position ).

Since my dogs are in the cargo area of my SUV, nothing would happen. If they weren't back there, D would jump all over them giving kisses. Cori would freak out that there was a stranger in the car. She's be scared. If it happened when I have Q, the person would lose his hand.

That actually happened to my Aunt...and she didn't have a dog with her...

Since that happened to her..I NEVER have my door locks unlocked...and I don't ever have my passenger windows down that low....I'd have my A.C on....if it were that warm...
And....if someone approached my vehicle at a light....they'd all be barking and salivating at the window..I don't think anyone in their right mind would attempt to reach in.

Sierra rides with me.... Moxie behind the cargo barrier of the SUV.

Sierra would be in that back seat growling and barking her fool head off, but wouldnt do anything unless the person touched me.

If for some reason Moxie was in the front with me, she would be hopping out that door as soon as it was opened and then would hop back in to kiss the stranger.

I would say it depends on how I react. If it's someone I or my dogs know they will be fine. They will just be happy and waggin there tails but if it would be someone I don't know I honestly don't know what they would do. Probably nothing but who knows.
