Remember that story of the plane crash in the mountains where the survivors ate the dead people?

If you were in a plane crash with your dog, would you eat you kill your dog and eat it in order to survive? Would it matter if your childrens lives depended on it? What if childrens lives depended on it but they were not YOUR children? What about shareing with another adult who was a stranger on the plane?

I think if you are that starved, you are not really capable of rational thought. I'd probably try to eat the other adult before my dog though.

I'd use a working dog to hunt, but if it came down to it...I'd eat him and live a few more days on a full belly. He is my companion, and would want that for me.

Seriously...I havent seen that movie, but people can go alot longer without food than they can without water!

I think I'd eat the dog before watching me AND him die of starvation. If I couldn't kill/eat him I'd have to find water and food for both of us, which would make survival twice the work.

Without doubt I would eat my dog. Anyway if I died first I'm sure at that point he wouldn't go hungry!

I honestly cannot say whether or not I would eat my dog. However, I would kill the dog vs. watching him/her starve to death.

Also, if children were involved, that dog would be roasting over a fire in a heartbeat. I don't care if they are my kids or not. I'm not about to sit around and watch children die.

I couldn't bare killing her with my own hands.... or eating her... so I don't think that I could do it.

Then we have two things in common!

I always think about that plane that was flying around with the dead pilots and passengers. Can you imagine being the only survivor of a flying plane full of dead people. That is way to much drama for me!

Honestly I feel as though if it were that bad and you that hungry, you were not going to survie anyways...so no I would not, and another reason i would not, is because I would not want it done to me.....

I'm 100% certain I wouldn't be able to kill my own dog, especially since there probably isn't a very painless way to kill her. Even if she died, I'm certain I wouldn't be able to skin her and cut her up and eat her.

Also, Divina wouldn't provide enough meat for me to get by much longer, though, she does have some pretty muscular thighs. Cori would provide significantly more meat than D would. The muscles in her shoulders and thighs are pretty impressive, so she'd definitely get me by much longer.

But again, I would never be able to do whatever it was I'd have to do to kill my dogs and eat them.
