  • Check attachment before each ride. Always wear an approved bicycle helmet.
FAQS
  1. Will I run over my dog?
Because of the rear wheel attachment the K9 Cruiser Bicycle Leash prevents any chance of dog getting in front of the wheels of the bicycle making it impossible to ever hit your own dog.
  2. Will my dog knock me off my bicycle?
With the K9 Cruiser Bicycle Leash , simply pedal the bicycle, if you dog misbehaves there is an immediate tug to redirect your pet! You feel a tug and pedal to control your pet. Your leg strength and pedal power is ten times more than arm control. And since the K9 Cruiser attaches to the bicycle below the center of gravity of your bicycle, it is impossible to tip your bike.
  3. What if my dog stops suddenly? Slows down or speeds up?
The K9 Cruiser Bicycle Leash allows you to stay in control with your dog through the bicycle. If your dog speeds up, you feel a slight tug forward, you can choose to pedal faster and allow your dog to trot or run setting the pace. If your dog slows down, you feel a slight tug behind you, and you respond in kind by braking the bicycle to slow down or stop. You choose the direction while your dog sets the pace.
  4. Will the K9 Cruiser fit any bicycle?
The K9 Cruiser attaches to any non motorized bicycle the same way the back wheel attaches. Simply loosen the rear wheel axle nut or quick release, slide the K9 Cruiser Bicycle Leash between the frame and the axle, then tighten. Fasten the Velcro strap around the frame of the bike and you're ready to go!
  5. How far can my dog run?
Every dog is different, just like every person. You should carefully consider your dogs breed, age, and energy level to decide what is best for your dog. A good rule of thumb is to go the distance that your dog is accustomed to walking. You will find that the distance covered by a half hour walk can easily be covered with the K9 Cruiser Bicycle Leash in about five minutes. This saves time for you, and can be much more enjoyable and effective exercise for your pet.
