 APBT or "pit bull" I notice many people refer to their dogs as pit bulls. With the general media hype is this a diservice to the dogs and American Pit Bull Terriers as a breed. "Pit bull " to me can refer to any of the over 20 breeds or mixes that can be refered by this name. Along with being a good ambassador for the breed I think they should be addressed properly by name, APBT, APBT mix or just a mix. I see more reason to call an APBT a American bull terrier or American gamedog then Pit Bull. |
