We didnt get home from work till 230am. It was snowing here. A friend called me on the way home and she was staying up without sleep and going to work so I talked to her until 430 and went to bed at 6am. At 7am my wife got up to take something for an upset stomach. She woke me up to come look out the window at something that was bothering her.

I sware I am being honest here and this make zero sense. There were large footprints probably at least as big as my feet and I wear size 12. There is a vacant lot between me and the house next door. The next door neighbor purchased the house between us and had it torn down and uses the garage for 4 wheelers. These footprints seemed to appear in the middle of that yard and then walk straight down my fence towards the field. It even looked like someone had put a hand on my fence. Worse yet is the footprints were a single footprint? It looked like they were takeing giant steps and walking in the same track. Whoever it was had to be tall because the prints were three feet or four feet apart?

So why would someone be out there at 4am walking that way along my fence. My porch light is on and my house is only about ten foot from that part of the fence because its my side yard. I dont have a big yard on the side just a big front and back yard.

The strange thing is that Ive posted about a ghost that supposedly lived next door. When I had Click, he wouldnt sleep in his dog house. He is a great watchdog. He would sit on a blanket on the ground and constantly stare in that direction like he was watching or waiting for something and in defense mode all the time.
Sissy always looks that way like she sees something and we never see anything there. A couple times Edge was clinging to the fence with all four feet and hair on his back. He was madder than Ive ever seen him and again, we saw nothing.

I have no clue what to think. I dont know if it was a ghost, bigfoot, someone up to no good or what but its strange.

Honeslty, Im thinking there is a logical explanation; but everything I offered, my wife shot down. I said "OK, then what do you think it is?" She said she has no clue. The thing I keep going back to is if it was a person, why were they trying to leave one track? Why didnt they back track? Where couldnt we see where the tracks originated from? What were they doing outside walking next to my house at 4 or 5am? What is this thing we cant see that keeps puting all my dogs on alert?

One other thing I didnt mention. I might have posted it on here earler. I cant rememeber; but two or three Monday mornigs our electric garage door was open. Nothing was messed with and it was only happening on Mondays. We dont park in there so we unpluged the door and it stopped. Something just doesnt sit right.

Also, maybe it is or isnt related but someone threw a dead dog in my driveway last summer. They shot it and tossed it in the yard.

While I was typeing this, my wife came in and said the traced the tracks and they go from the street to my neighbors shed but dont come out. Shes all paranoid. Thats where the dogs are always looking. She is wondering if someone is sleeping in the shed because as stated the house where the shed is was taken down and was abandoned for a long time before that. The other neighbor just uses the garage.

There was a rumor (which I dont believe) about 5 years ago of a big foot sleeping in a shed about 6 or 7 miles from here. Im going to call the neighbor when they get back home.

it could be a ghost...a few years ago I might have laugh at someone suggesting ghost, but the house in Wilmington, NC I lived in was definitely haunted.

Buy a game cam at your local Dicks Sporting goods, place it on the corner of your house facing the part of the yard you found the prints and if something like this

is caught on film, please let me know as I'll come and get him/her for you.
