Default will it ever leave??
my hubby does auto repair and collision work, and restoration... so my cousin has a 55 chevy that he has had for the past 20 years.. sitting and rotting..... he started doing work on it maybe 15 years ago, then stopped.. he asked jamie if he wanted to restore the car... jamie said yes without seeing the car.. so the car arrives 2 1/2 years ago on a flatbed and when it got into our driveway i almost died.. it was in such rough shape, and jamie was shocked at its condition.. i should have started taking pictures back then, but didnt.. it was a total eyesore... now, after 2 1/2 years of him painstakingly fixing dent after dent and rust after rust, its almost ready to go back to my cousin... here are some pics of the car...
mind you, hubbys prize 68 chevelle SS has been sitting in the driveway for this entire time, as the 55 chevy takes up the entire garage... hubbys chevelle has never seen the weather until 2 1/2 years ago...
my cousin wanted it painted bright yellow and white...





got doors?





hubby bringing it back after doing some body work at a friends shop..



him wishing the car would just leave..




omg its almost ready....











hopefully it will be gone before Christmas, but i highly doubt it, as he still has to do alot of buffing, sanding, and painting of parts that my cousin gave him.. when its all done my cousin is going to come up and drive the car back down the shore, as it runs like a dream...

my dream is that it is out of our garage very soon......

jamie is painting the white right now, so tomorrow i will take pics once he takes the paper off... he still has to paint the other parts too... i will take as many pics as possible..
