Question Blue brand dry puppy food?

I recently just purcahsed a 7 week old pit and started giving her the Blue brand mini-baby dog 30 bag of dry dog food. I am wondering if thats a good brand to use, its organic with real meat, but i saw the recall for their canned food on a post back in april.. does anyone else use the dry dog food and have good results with it?

if you check out the ingredients, make sure that meat/meal is the first ones listed.

you can also go here to find out what to look for in dry dog food

some of the better brands that are not sold in petco/petsmart are:

www.canidae.com
www.timberwolforganics.com
www.merrick.com
www.naturapet.com(which carries the innova line )

I'm not sure if we can judge that meat first thing anymore...I tried to prove a point about food to husband once, and pulled out a pedigree or science diet or some crap like that, and it had meat, just meat as the first ingreident. But then it went to like ground rice or something icky.

Perhaps they're beating us at our own game lol I tend to look for two meats first, and anything less I put down.

It's a 2 star food here, the highest is 6 stars. This site lists ingredients and rates the food with 2-6 stars, with 6 stars going to foods with the highest real meat content and no grains.
