Default About dating...ugg

I'm assuming most on this forum are married or tied down like the rest of the world, so maybe you won't relate but here goes nothing.

Can I just say, If you know i have a dog & you still want to date me, do not come over to my house & be a dick to my dog! That's really not making me like you. What an idiot!!
That's all I'm saying.

I think i'm bound to be single the rest of my life because there seems to be a shortage of single men with brains in NH.
ok, i'm done venting now. thanks for listening.

Some people just don't know how to behave around dogs. But if he was a complete ass, then screw 'em. Just keep in mind, we treat our dogs a lot different then the average dog owner

LOL I totally know what you mean!!!!! I was once on a date and this guy was asking me about my dogs and I was telling him about Divina and that she was born deaf. He goes, "I'm sorry but shouldn't you just put that dog to sleep, I mean, she can't hear." WTF???? Do they put people to sleep because they can't hear??? NO!!

Seriously, I can understand people being confused or having questions about having a dog that was born deaf, but why, if we were on a date, would you insult me like that??? Idiot.

I tell guys right off the bat about my pets. You don't like pets, you won't like me, period. I wouldn't even let a guy come to my house unless I already knew he was an animal lover. Now, all my bfs have loved animals. But....that didn't stop them from being complete a-holes in other ways!

Oh, and I now have a dog from a former relationship, and a cat from a former relationship. *sigh* couldn't commit to me or their pets!

My friend Erika and I were just talking about this today. She is dating a guy that loves her pitty's so much. It is SO important that the person you are with cares for your dogs. My dogs are my kids and I couldnt be with someone who didnt love them Going to dog events would be a great way to find someone with your common interest in pooches. I know whenever I take a pooch to the pet store I always meet people who love pit's. I'm married and my husband frowns upon me dating now...lol.

I'm married and lucky for me to another dog lover.....
BUT, if friends or family members act like my dogs are a pain in the ass when they come over....you'll find I don't spend time with those "certain" people.....and they don't get invited over to my house.

It takes a while sometimes, but the right person will pop up. Hell, I had to find someone who loved my daughter and all manner of creepy crawlies, too. Try looking right under your nose. I know that's cliche, but Evan and I had been friends for 6 years before we got together. 3 years and 1 mean little boy later, we're still here, and still happy with our kids, bugs, snakes, lizards, and pibble.

I have friends that aren't "dog people", needless to say, they don't usually come to my house, I go to theirs. I have 4 dogs, 4 cats and 2 goldfish, if you don't like animals, don't come to my house. Who cares if you have dog hair, or cat hair on your pants??? My pit is my "grand daughter" and I can't handle someone not being nice to her. You can treat me like crap, but my kids and my dogs?? Don't even think about hurting their feelings!!

there were a bunch of single guys when i did rott rescue, but i was married then, they are out there, its just a matter of finding them... the 4love of dog does pits and rott rescue and the rott rescue does just rotts, maybe become a volunteer with one of them?? or start going to their events and checking out the scenes??
