Default What do you think about pet psychics?

Do you think there is a such thing as people being able to tell you about your dogs thoughts? Are pet psychics a lot of bunk? How could they possibly do this over the phone?

Do you think people and animals can communicate telepathically?

I have used an animal communicator before. She was pretty accurate

I think there are things in our brains we don't entirely understand, but considering we only use 10% of our brains normally, who's to say some use a bit more?

I have used one too. She came to my apartment. It was kind of strange because when she got there, JC immediately sat next to her on the couch and he does not do that right away. She told me he didnt like the cold bathroom floor tiles. She told me that he likes my cooking and that he calls me Mommy. She said JC does not like my glasses. I wear glasses usually on the weekends. That's all I can remember.

I could believe someone like Michele used...moreso than I could believe anything anyone told me over the phone...without even meeting my dog.

I used an animal communicator that was reffered to me by ME and someone else on a different board.

I actually just sent two pics of each of my dogs (when Issis was with us) and then got on the phone. I don't remember everything, but without me saying a thing, she told me Kayrah was...of strong personality And asked if Issis and Kayrah had recently got into a fight. They tended to get into scuffles on occasion, so I said yes. She said Issis felt like she was being bullied by Kayrah and by me.

She told me Kayrah didn't have any true feelings about her previous owners, and had to learn to depend on herself, which I entirely believe. Kayrah is just now learning she can rely on me, and I won't let her down. She's finally becoming the dog she could have been for the past 3 years. Then I asked why Kayrah kept running away (she kept digging up a hole I continually covered) and she said Kayrah didn't even associate it with me, but she just wanted an adventure! I won't really talk about what she said about Issis, because I don't like talking about her, but it was all pretty acurate. But she did say Issis had a previous owner that expected too much out of her, which made her fearful of failure, which made 100% sense, because Issis was terrified of failing me, and chose to not try instead.

She told me all of this without any direction from me. I know ME got a really good reading too, but I'll let her share about her experience if she chooses.

I would love it if someone came to my house instead of doing a phone reading.

I'm only asking to start a GOOD debate But why do you think they're full of bull?

I feel that it can be narcissistic to believe that

A. We're the only beings in the whole universe
B. That it's impossible for people to have amazing abilities, just because there isn't enough proof for it.
C. That there arne't ghosts.

Human beings are still archaic in their way of reasoning, still very animalistic with their beliefs. I find it very....close minded to not believe in aliens or ghosts. heehee I kinda went off topic!

But it stems to as why can't there be true psychics? Obviously, people who have tv shows or radio shows, they're fake, either that or do a terrible disservice to those who have true abilities.

I believe that psychics are full of bull. It is not a narcissistic, egocentric or otherwise, but I think the burdon of proof falls on them. If I make a claim...the burden of proving it valid lies on me, and not on some opposition to prove it false. There have been too many exposed as false. Too many untrue predictions, etc. Problem is most people blow it off as entertainment, or wacko and feel no need to prove it wrong. One famous psychic that I can think of exposed is MS Cleo, and one that should be is that lady thats been on the Montel Williams show. She has made many predictions that have been untrue, but people lean toward back filling her more vague predictions. One prediction that I remember as false was that she predicted the Raiders would win the Super Bowl the same year she predicted Clinton would be reelected. One came true, but it was actually a 50/50 guess. Either he's elected, or not...but I too am rambling lol.

Same thing goes for aliens BTW. It is not for someone to prove definately that they do not exist. There is no need to prove a negative statement. We can assume they don't with the lack of proof. It would be someones responsibility to prove that statement positive. Aliens exist because SETI was successful etc.

I think that we all have unlocked powers. I myself have had many prophecies that have come true and they were very direct and to the point. All of mine have been on a personal level for friends and family. I could probably dig up a lot of friends from dog forums who would tell you that I told them something personal about themselves or someone else over the internet.

I dont consider myself a pshychic though. What I think is that I am normal. I cant pick and choose what information I get. Some things just come to me. I think I am just more intune than most people about recognizing those things.

I think there are people who exist that are far better than me; but I think almost everyone on TV is fake. I watched one episode of that new reality show about psychics. I think that is real. There was a women who broke down and cried and told them about a fire that had taken place in a rebuilt building. That is something I could see myself doing. I dont think it was luck. I think she really sensed that and her emotions were true.

This guy who did that show Crossing Over, my parents thought he was "The SHIT" till I proved him fake. That guy is so bogus. "Uhh let's see the persons name starte with a T, does that ring a bell? Oh, maybe then that was the last name, oh, well do you know a Cat who has a T in it's name?"

Aliens I totally believe in; but I agree about the burden of proof thing. Ive seem enough in various types of ancient material to convince me. My biggest reasoning is logic. Scientist know that they universe is endless. Time in infinite. It makes absolutely know sense to me to think that with infinite time and space a civilization was only created once. I believe in God and creation but even if you belive in the big bang or even evolution, it makes no sense that it only happened once.

I think the majority, if not all aliens people claim to have seen are deamons and angels. I have many reasons for that but that is another long long topic. Beides, it's all JMO.

I have personally learned, even at my young age, to trust my intuition. I use to have constant "Man, I knew I should've done this or that" moments. I've also learned if I take three seconds, breath deep, and ask myself a question, my intuition gives me the answer. And it's never.ever.wrong.

But very often, more then not, my intellect fights it, and I just screw myself anyway lol

I agree S.E....
A lot of stuff they tell you is things that you can't disprove...
unless it eventually doesn't come true....

We have a pretty famous Psychic that lives in the area, Phil Jordan, he's been on those Cold Case, Forensic shows...helping Police solve murders (real life)...so when he was doing a group show my SIL and I decided to get tickets and go...$15 (which I figured wasn't bad, wasn't going to break me)
He picked people in the group to say things to...he said he picked people based on their "aura's".....
Basically I think he picked them because they had sucker written across their foreheads....
He basically did the letter, number, name thing and expounded on it.....I think it's all a big guessing game till you hit on something.
I think he can tell from the person's face that he's getting "warm"....
He talked to my SIL, and everything he basically told her was shit.
Um..let me just say, he didn't call on me...obviously I didn't have a good "aura", or maybe it's because of the cynical look I had on my face....

I agree...these types of psichics are the BS artists that I was referring to above.

I always like to start Universe talk with the thermodynamic law of Entropy are you familiar with it? I think that is the basis for discrediting, or basing belief in life other than on Earth in an "infinite" (I disagree with that also...vast, but not infinite) Universe.

I think the majority, if not all aliens people claim to have seen are deamons and angels. I have many reasons for that but that is another long long topic. Beides, it's all JMO.

Since its just you Jennay and I...lets get into it lol

Hypnotists do they same thing...calling on people that are hyper suggestable. Also the atmosphere of some of these shows cause a type of group think. That is a bit of topic, but I know exactly what you're talking about.
