Nylabone Galileo bones - hard plastic http://cgi.ebay.com/NYLABONE-GALILEO...QQcmdZViewItem

Beef Marrow bones- all natural and good for the dog (beef marrow bone is the one on the bottom left)

I have a problem with Nylabones, or I should say Fred does, he had one once & never will again because it was a puke fest! He ripes through it so quick then he swallowed the peices before I could get them away from him, then i woke up to puke sounds, ugg, not a good experience.
I do however love those bullsticks never had an issue with those except a bit of a loose poo in the am. No biggie.
Bones make me nervous because of the splintering issues I've heard of, also I've heard that if you keep one around to long it can make your dog sick from the bactieria that groes on them. Not sure if that's true or not but it was engough for me to keep away from them.

regarding beef marrow bones: I've heard that the leg bones from cows are more hard & dense than other bones & if a dog chews on one a lot, it can cause the teeth to get worn down. I don't have personal experience w/ that, but it's what I've heard.

My dogs get marrow bones and bully sticks. My dogs can be around each other when chewing without incident. Divina will curl her lip and growl if she's got a sully stick but will keep chewing. But come around her when she's chewing on hew marrow bone and she will launch into attack mode! SHE LOVES HER MARROW BONES!! So I keep a very close eye on them. Cori is a wuss though she she won't even try going near Divina when she's got anything to chew on.

No matter what, I can take anything away from any dog I own with no problem.

A Galileo bone is different from regular Nylabones. I guarantee your dog won't rip through one of these. They are extremely tough. My dog has went through at least a dozen of these and has never had any problem. The plastic is hard enough to prevent any large pieces from breaking off.

We do bully sticks and raw frozen knuckle bones (Maddie doesn't) . Once in a while I will pick up these other treats from Merrick (can't remember the name)

Nylabones (and greenies) scare the crap out of me.
