Default So what is your dogs favorite doggy treat?

My dogs love chicken jerky treats. On Mondays, my wife takes me down the street about 2 miles to the truck stop where I ride to work with a friend. She then goes straight back home. She is only gone for 5 minutes normaly and 10 minutes tops. We left Rita and Pebbles to run the house. Rita (We didnt have to be ther eto know.) got on top of a table and got a tupperware cylindar shapped container full of chicken jerky treats and took them to the front room. When my wife got home, she and pebbles had eaten half the container. I guess at least she shared.

That brings to mind another question.
Has anyone done home made treats?

My dogs love it when I dehydrate stuff for them! I cut up hearts and livers and really "yummy" stuff. I let it soak in a little bit of fish oil with a tad of garlic powder. Then I put it all in the dehydrator over night. It makes great jerky treats for them!

Yup, I have baked doggy cookies ... just not sure how to keep hubby's 'paws' out of that treat container

Seriously, they loved them, and I plan to do it again.

On a day-to-day basis, we use Charlee Bears.

It's only after a friend or family member picks up a Bully Stick that I tell them what it is...

ETA: I ordered from Bully Sticks Online and my girls were really happy with them! The prices aren't too bad either. And they don't stink!

Promise that they don't smell?

Because if they are anything like the cowhooves DH brought home one day, I'll faint.

You know what stinks? There is something my dogs eat (Im thinking it's cow hoofs) that gives off an odor while they are chewing it and it almost makes me barf!
