If you could custom order your dog to be genetically manufactured, what color would you choose? Would it be solid or mixed, like white with black spots for example.

To be completely honest, I have no favorite color. Color is that last thing I notice when getting a dog. For example, I HATE white dogs yet at one time I owned 3 white APBTs (2 deaf & still own one of them), and white Dogo Argentino, and a white OEB. Color doesn't influence me either way.

![]() I agree that color isnt important. I would take my least favorite color over my favorite if I liked the dog better. However, if all things were equal, then I like the color Edge is. Scrappy was that color also. |

That would be the colour, and a few that are similar...a little lighter, a little darker. My mom's dog was my first real introduction to the breed and she holds a very special place in my heart...but they're all beautiful, regardless of colour. __________________ Let us conduct ourselves in a way we'll all be proud of tomorrow.

I may be wrong but it seems like I heard somewhere that statistically brindle was the favorite color. I would guess it to be blue. I remember when blue was rare and almost unheard of. If you look at pups for sale mostly all you see is blue. Then again, maybe that is because if the pups are any other color but maybe rednose, its not normally mentioned as a selling point.

I'm extremely fond of OFRN dogs, so I guess red/red nose would be my favorite color. That said, I would never give color any consideration in the decision of buying or looking for a dog. I would base the decision on the line and characteristics of a dog that best fit my needs for that dog. Buying a dog solely based on it's color seems silly to me, but there are people lining up to fork over $1,000-$5,0000 for "rare" blue and red nose dogs every day... ![]()

I prefer tan/red and really don't like brindle but Mindi is brindle so color really isn't important and definately not the first thing I think of when I get a dog. Plus my boyfriend picked Mindi but I probably would have taken her too if I was the one who got to pick lol. I love how small she is I think she'll be awesome looking when she gets older and I don't think she going to get very big maybe 30 pounds.Last edited by Mindi'smom; 11-07-2007 at 05:49 PM..

I really like all colors but my all-time favorite would have to be the blue. ![]()

\\ Me either, but for some reason I really love white pit bulls with brown brindled spots. And of course she has NOTHING to do with it.![]() __________________

I really like the rednoses. I don't care what shade, but I lean towards the darker red. Rednose brindle is really a sweet color, too. I don't like a lot of flash, except when we're talking about all-white or half-white heads. (I guess my way of thinking is if you're going to have flash, go all the way.) __________________ *** Lindsay "I don't want to waste another day stuck in the shadow of my mistakes."
