Default What is the most expensive thing your dog has ever destroyed?

Has your dog ever demolished anything? Whats the most expensive thing he has ever destroyed?

I had one destroy my wife's rabbit coat once. That didnt go over too well lol. Recently, the only one Ive had problems with is Dillan. This summer he destroyed 4 kiddie pools and three dryer vents.

You know those vents on the outside of the house where the dryer exhaust comes out? He kept tearing them off! I figured out it was because there was a door flap on it that opend and closed. I got one without the flap and its been up a few weeks now so I think Im safe.

My $300 cell phone. And a $200 digi camera.

WHat if funny to me (not to my Vet) is he has a Bull Terrier puppy. And He bought a $1000 Flat Screen TV. All of a sudden we heard him cussing. SO we ran in his office. And his pup chewed through the cord while he was taking it out the box.

Now the reason why it was funny is because just the day before she chewed up some envelopes and he told the receptionist "how could you let her do that you were sitting right there." Well those words bit him in the ass.

Man, all of those situations would make you feel sick but the latter is funny. I was chatting one MSN Messenger once and my computer just shut off and died. I discovered the dog chewed a USB cable and shorted everything out. Luckily I just had to replace the cable so it wasnt a big deal.

She chewed the ear on my Talking Pikachu doll. And this was after she was a trained adult. She never destroyed anything of consequence when she was a pup, ironically. Now when Jedi was a pup, he chewed through the wire on my only Playstation controller. I spent several weeks in mourning before I had the cash for a new controller. (I was fresh out of high school and unemployed at the time.) But that did instill some good habits in me for future reference. ie, roll wire around controller, place controller up on shelf. LOL!

I forgot that a foster dog ripped off a lot of the side of the garage where the pen is attached. That's one of the perils or rescue. You loose a lot of money from stuff like that which you never get back.

My Corgi stretched up and pulled a bag of treats off the kitchen table; along with the bag of treats came my Oakley sunglasses that cost about $175. She chewed them to pieces. I wasn't too upset that they were expensive glasses, but that they were the glasses I had gotten as a gift from my boyfriend who had died in Iraq.

the chewing incident which is most burned into my memory is when Debo chewed a bag of brand new Victoria's Secret goodies. Probably about $100 worth, but it wasn't the money - it was the emotional trauma I didn't laugh at the time - I was waaaay pissed

My dog Nakita had a shoe chewing problem....I could have a $2 pair of canvas cheapie sneakers laying next to a pair of expensive leather boots and she'd always go for the pricey footwear....daughter like mother ?
She chewed up a pair of red leather granny boots...and I almost died....they were such a nice pair of boots....
Thankfully she outgrew that stage.....

My 3 grrlz I have now....really weren't big chewers on stuff they weren't supposed to chew on....but, once I left my date book on the kitchen table...with $35 in it....and our cat, Kato...knocked the datebook on the floor...and the grrlz chewed up the money.....
The cat was trying to get them into trouble.....evil cat !!!

Gretchen has a penchant for the little plastic toys the kids play with...and if somebody leaves a toy down..."Boxcar Bertha" will pick it up...she'll then start pacing around and whining....almost like telling on herself !!
I'll say drop it, and usually about 5 contraband things will fall out.....

Maybe you should teach her to put the toys back in the toybox? I've been wanting to teach Loki how to put things in the trash.

You know, both of the female dogs I have had have been chewers. But not MY stuff. Just my husband's or the kid's stuff. Hmmmmmm, wondering what they're trying to tell me.

Rhianna ate $250.00 work boots, Mark's hat, sandals and the woodwork on his side of the bed. Plus the couch. Petey used to take all the toys and chewies and hoard them, so she chewed on stuff he couldn't hoard.

Birdie must have a hating for Mark because she has eaten his work boots, sneakers, sandals, boat shoes and she'll chew on anything he leaves out.

She is also the terminator of Little People and any other toys that Gremlin doesn't put away. Autumn calls her a poly-vore because she will eat plastic toys.

And I thought teaching her to retrieve and mouth things was okay???

Petey has eaten books. Far too many books for me to list.

So far I've been incredibly lucky with Chilli and not chewing anything of value, yet... And my Akita has no interest whatsoever in chewing/destroying things, but I had a Boxer a while ago and he would dig trees out of the ground and then jump around with them, lol....
