This is a very graphic thread. Guillermo Habacuc Vargas had 2 children catch this dog. He paid the kids for this. He then chained the dog and used the dog as "art". He told everyone not to feed this dog. The dog died in the gallery. He calls himself an artist. I call him an animal abuser. In that event, (in which the dog died) he was chosen to represent his country in the “Bienal Centroamericana Honduras 2008″, the petition site is to sign to boycott him , so he won’t can participate in the event.

What are your thoughts on this and would you take a vacation in Costa Rica knowing this. The link below is graphic but there is a petition you can sign. FEEL FREE TO CROSSPOST THIS TO EVERY SINGLE FORUM THAT YOU BELONG TO. The word needs to get out on this.

ok, i saw the blog.. what this man did is dispicable.... no way would i go to Costa Rica and support their tourism since this man was allowed to starve this dog to death...... he should be brought up on animal cruelty charges, but since Costa Rica doesnt care about their animals i know nothing will be done.. RIP poor dog..

wow...I'd love to make an art exhibit using him. I think I would hang him upside down from a tree and let the audience beat him with baseball bats until his brains spilled out on the ground. Now THAT would be ART.

The definition of art is "the quality, production, expression, or realm, according to aesthetic principles, of what is beautiful, appealing, or of more than ordinary significance". Since when is a dead dog any of those.

i dont think so. I'm sorry for the graphic nature of this thread but everyone needs to sign this petition and crosspost this to every forum they visit. If you can't do it, I understand. I'm having a hard time with this one myself

Yes, they are. I speak/read a little spanish & from what I could understand, nobody was defending the POS "artist" (a disgrace to all real artists).
