Default What's In Your Back Yard?

It’s a jungle out there…

With strange fuzzy things:

Pokeweed berries…

Thistle:

Goldenrod:

Yarrow:

Sumac

Wild aster?

Ferns:

And lots of pickers!

I have, they use the main road though. The part of my back and side yard is fenced in, so visitors are rare, small and can run really fast.

they dogs are behind the fence, andthe bears basically give the dogs the finger.. they are not afraid of them as long as they are behind the fence.. some of the bears up here will actually go after dogs if they are loose.. my old neighbors gsd chased a bear up the road, and the bear turned around and started chasing the dog...

mine all go nuts when a bear is in the yard..

I have a rabbit who sits right outside the fence at night. He's either blind or deaf...he doesn't move when the dogs are right up in his face, barking.

That, or he's doing it on purpose.

the squirrels here do that too. i have one really brave one that will actually sit on the water bowl outside drinking from it.. then when the dogs come out he runs on the deck spindles sideways teasing the dogs...
