Call the producer of Combat they can help you. Depending on the chemical make-up they may not have you do anything due to the chemicals or weight of your dog. If it is an issue you will be connected with an ASPCA vet.

My dog recently ate a rat poison block in my brothers yard and they vet said with the dog weight it shouldn't be an issue, but to be on the safe side to administer some Hydrogen peroxide to induce vomiting. It didn't work immediatly and was told to just watch over the next few days. After that last call he vomited 2 hours later all of the block, and was back to normal. The hydrogen peroxide causes them to have an upset stomach, so they look worse.

Babyblue after you give the Hydrogen Peroxide if you can walk the dog around or play lightly with him this will help induce the foaming action in the stomach that indues the vomiting. Also if the dog is inside, have a towel handy so clean up is easier.

The "fresher" the hydrogen peroxide, the better. If it's an old bottle and doesn't foam up well, sometimes the dogs won't throw it back up.

yeah I ran across the street, I called my friend to stay w/ the kids & ran across the street, and I called him and grabbed his mouth and opened it, and I poured some in, he threw up like in 15 minutes. OMG! I thought I was about to loose it their for a little bit, I was trying to hold it together cause my kids are here, the boys almost started crying...

Good point Marine. Something I forgot to add. I keep a small bottle that I replace once a year in my dog first aid kit.

the vet told me that he should throw up whatever he ate all day, he's had 1 meal so far, so he threw all that up, some water he drank not to long ago, and alot of fizz came out too, that was yucky, but I DON'T CARE!!!! I'm just happy that he did throw up. the kids were scarred, they wouldn't let him go to sleep...that made me cry.
